Arsenal offered chance to sign former Everton striker who has already scored 16 goals this season as three forwards on offer

TBR Football exclusively understands that Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign former Everton striker Moise Kean, who is in fine goalscoring form in Italy.

Arsenal h🍌ave serious intentions to recruit a new striker before next week’s deadline, given the long-term injury to Gabriel Jesus.

In an ideal world, Mikel Arteta 💙would bring one of his long-term striker ಌtargets to the club this month, however, the January transfer window is rarely the opportune time for major signings.

Arteta and Arsenal’s topꦫ brass believe that there is definitely room to bring another forward to the club this month, but they don’t want to bring in someone who is not already held in high regard.

That being said, TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey understands that 🐠former Everton man Kean has been offered to the club along wit✤h two other new names.

Kean, who left Goodison Park officiallyಌ in 2023, has scored 16 goals in 26 appearances for Fiorentina in all competitions so far this season.

The 24-year-old came🎉 to the Premieꦉr League at a very young age, and wasn’t truly able to prove his quality for Everton, scoring just four goals at the club.

But the Italian has evidently made progress, hence why he’s no💜w being offered to Arsenal.

In addition to Kean, Atalanta striker Ma𓆏teo Retegui has also been offered to the Gunners by way of the🦄 Serie A.

On his part, 25-year-old Retegui has scored 19 goals in 29 appeara﷽nces for Atalanta this season, another stunning record.

And fans in north London might remember when Retegui missed a penalty against Arsenal in the Champions League earlier ༒thi🦹s season, a save David Raya deserved big credit for.

Mateo Retegui and Manfred Ugalde also offered to Arsenal before deadline day

In addition to the two Serie A players mentioned,🅘 Arsenal have also been presented with the name of Manfred Ugalde.

22-year-old Ugalde is a Costa Rica international who is currently🥃 playing fꦕor Spartak Moscow in the Russian top flight.

Ugalde m🐷ade the move to Spartak from FC Twente in the Netherlands at the start of 2024, and has scored 16 goals in 22 games this season.

Three strikers with excellent records who Arsenal might consider as options, b𒀰ut the Gunners don’t want to commit financially to a short-term deal.
