Unai Emery has been 🍌forced to think on his feet as a result of all the absentees, fielding Granit Xhaka and Stephan Lichtsteiner there on occasion.

Fulham are actually ahead🍰 of Arsenal in the race to sign the Chelsea defender, who has fallen way down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

The Gunners should ﷽let the Cottagers win♕ this particular battle, because there’s someone else out there who could be worth fighting for.

Godin would fix Arsenal’s leaky backline

At𒉰letico Madrid defender Diego Godin is out of contract at the end of the current season.

The Uruguay international, along with a few others at the Wanda Metropolitano, doesn’t appear likely to sign a new deal, with Marca () having reported no progress has been made after an in🙈itial verbal agreement between he and Diego Simeone.

The 32-year-old, who is actually a few months youn𝔍ger than Cahill, has been a huge reason for Atletico’s reputation as a soli𓆉d defensive team.

Where lots of defenders decline past the age of 30, Godin maintained his impeccable standards – in 🐼the same way Giorgio Chiellini has at Juventus.

Arse🅺nal need a leader at the back, and Godin, potentially on a free, would be an incredible signing by Emery.
