Arsenal fans all make the same point about Eddie Nketiah after Carabao Cup win over Crystal Palace
Arsenal academy graduate Eddie Nketiah was in action for Crystal Palace in their Carabao Cup quarter-final clash at the Emirates Stadium.
Eddie Nketiah left Arsenal in the summer to join Crystal Palace in a £25milliဣon move with £5million in potential a♛dd-ons.
The Hale End gr🐈aduate has played 13 times for the Eagles this season, claiming one 🐼goal and one assist prior to Wednesday night’s game.
Although Nketiah was on the losing side as Arsenal ran out 3-2 winners over Palace, the forme﷽r Gunners man scored late on for his side.
In the 85th minute, Nkeꦬtiah got a superb connection on a cross from the 🍷right to loop a header into the net from 15 yards out.
Arsenal fans took to social media to give their thou🎀ghts on their former player scoring against them and making it a ner𒈔vy finish.

Arsenal fans not surprised to see Eddie Nketiah score against them
Gℱunners supporters re𓆏flected on the typical scenario of a player scoring against his former employers, as was the case with Nketiah on the night.
“Eddie Nketiah has been underperforming all season but suddenly sc🌠ores against Arsenal,” one fan said. “O𒀰h man.”
Another wrote: “Everybody expecti♋ng Eddie Nketiah to score against us as per Arsenal things, there you go. You know your club꧅ so damn well.”
Ars♐enal fans didn’t begrudge Nketiah’s goal, though some suggested they’d never seen him score such a goal in red and white.
One said: “Nevꦐer saw Nketiah leap like that when he was at Arsenal. Would be a cracking end to this game.”
Another wrote: “Nketiah never scored such a𒁏 header for Arse✅nal from that distance.”

Arsenal icon Alan Smith🍬 said on Sky Sports: “It had to be Eddie Nketiah🍸 if Crystal Palace were to get a goal back.
“Arsenal fans were chanting his name earlier but they certainly won’t if he gets another one. That is a top header that one. It is ✅not easy. All of a sudden, it is game on!”
Meanwhile, Sky Sports News journalist Sam Blitz said o✤n air: “It’s nervy. It’s mu𝐆ted from Arsenal fans, who are slightly haunted by a former flame.”
Jean-Philippe Mateta got Palace up and runni𝕴ng with an early opener, but Gabriel Jesus scored a hat-trick to win the game for🐲 Arsenal.
