Arsenal could soon do something rare to help Mikel Arteta
Arsenal have made great progress under Mikel Arteta – but it now feels like the Gunners need something to help them kick on.
The Spaniard won the FA Cup just seven months after replacing Unai Emery back in December 2019, but only has the FA Community Shield to show for his efforts at Arsenal since then.
TBR Football understand Arsenal pushed for Benjamin Sesko in the winter transfer window in an attempt t♐o add an edge to the squad, while a bid was also made for Ollie Watkins – which Aston Villa rejected.
There is a clear sense within the Emirates Stadium that Mikel Arteta needs at least one player of star quality added to his squad – but a story from the now suggests even more could happen.
Those inside Arsenal feel an unprecedented summer is coming
Sami Mokbel now explains that there is a “bur🔯geoni🅘ng sense” inside Arsenal that the Gunners are preparing for an unprecedented summer.
It is suggested that Arsenal fans could be about to see their side embark on a rare 🌞summer window when it comes to ambition in the market, with the aforementioned Sesko specifically named, due to the fact the Slovenia interꦇnational’s £55m release clause becomes active at the end of the season.

Of course, Arsenal have often backed Arteta, splashing a club record £105m to sign Declan Rice from West Ham, while £65m was spent on Kai꧃ Havertz in the same window.
So, for something🐲 potentially unprecedented – meaning never done or k🥃nown before – to be in the works should seriously excite Arsenal fans, as it points to a busy summer.
What Arsenal could do as Sami Mokbel teases unprecedented summer
In our view, the unprecedented thing Arsenal could do is smash their transfer record again.
Arteta has worked hard to bolster the spine of his side since replacing Emery, recruiting David Raya and implementing William Saliba, while al𒁏so adding Rice and Martin Odegaard ahead of them.
That just leaves a talismanic figure to lead the line, and we think Arsenal could therefore push 𝓡hard to sign Alexander Isak.

Alexander Isak, that is special. Newcastle lead ⭕Liverpool! ಞ
It has been suggested Newcastle want £200m for Isak – which you can understand♏ given the fact he boasts 19 goals and five assists in 27 appearances so far this season.
Arteta believes Isak is perfect for his Arsenal side, and seeing as the Spaniard🔜 often insists he does not want to sign anybod♓y who doesn’t directly improve the Gunners, a record bid could be submitted close to that asking price.
