Arsenal could move to sign Jonathan David in January

According to , Arsenal could make a move to sign Lille striker Jonathan David, who is out of contract next summer.

The Canada international, who has ‘electric speed’ per , has netted four times whilst laying on two assists in 10 outings so far this season and is set to attract interest from a number of clubs in January.

North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur were interested in signing David over the summer but instead opted for Dominic Solanke.

Due to his contract situation, the 24-year-old is expected to be available for a discounted fee of around £20m.

Inter Milan and Juventus are keeping tabs on David.

Arsenal should go all out to sign Viktor Gyokeres

Instead of David, Arsenal should go all out to sign Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres, who has made a phenomenal start to the season.

Gyokeres has already scored 11 goals in eight outings and if The Gunners were to land his signature, he’d provide them with a brilliant focal point.

The Sweden international has an £86m release clause, so his arrival wouldn’t come cheap.
