Arsenal chief Edu Gaspar’s son reacts on Instagram after ‘unbelievable’ player leaves Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur’s impressive work with outgoings in this summer’s transfer window continues.

Ange Postecoglou’s side had a lot of work to do in this window. They have only made two permanent signings, which is a bit frustrating, but a number of players have been moved on.

Tanguy Ndombele, Ryan Sessgnon and Japhet Tanganga were all released, while Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was loaned out to Marseille in a deal that will be made permanent in 2025.

Troy Parrott and Joe Rodon were sold by Tottenham, and now, another name can be added to the list.

Edu Gaspar’s son sends message to Emerson Royal after he leaves Tottenham

Emerson Royal’s future at Tottenham was up in the air since the 2023/24 season came to an end.

The Brazilian had fallen behind Pedro Porro in the pecking order, and the Spaniard has been so good under Postecoglou that there was no way back for the former Barcelona man.

Emerson publicly expressed his disappointment about not playing regularly at Tottenham, and he was heavily linked with a move away from the club.

The full-back, despite being hailed as ‘‘ by Postecoglou and playing regularly in pre-season, finally sealed his move on Monday.

Emerson was officially announced as a new AC Milan player, and he has been receiving a lot of love from his friends and former teammates.

Arsenal sporting director Edu Gaspar’s son, Luigi, replied under one of Emerson’s Instagram posts: “God bless, my brother!”

Cristian Romero wrote below : “Let’s go my brother Emerson Royal, I love you!”

Richarlison replied using a goat emoji.

Tottenham already have an Emerson replacement

Tottenham are on the market to find a new right-back to replace Emerson.

TBR Football exclusively revealed that Tottenham are considering re-signing Kyle Walker-Peters, while Issa Kabore and Michael Kayode are also said to be on the shortlist.

However, Spurs already have a very good option at the club – Djed Spence.

The former Middlesbrough man returned to pre-season like a completely different player. He was outstanding in the friendlies and finally showed signs of fulfilling his potential.

With Spence looking good and Gray also available to play as a right-back, we don’t see why Tottenham have to dive into the market to replace Emerson.
