Arne Slot makes shock transfer decision over Liverpool star Alisson Becker

Since arriving at Liverpool in 2018, Alisson Becker has gone on to make 271 appearances as the club’s number one, a position he’s maintained since Arne Slot’s arrival.

Unfortunately, Alisson has been suffering with a hamstring injury at Liverpool🐓 of late, a problem he sustained against Crystal Palace shortly before the October international break.

In his place, Caoimhin Kelleher🎀 has impressed, a goalkeeper who is proving why he’s not content as the club’s number two.

That being said, TBR Footballಞ understands that Liverpool are open to selling both of their first choice goalkeepers in 2025.

Liverpool willing to sell Alisson Becker and Caoimhin Kelleher next summer

Liverpool already have their new number one signed and sealed in the shape of outstanding Georgian international Giorgi Mamardashvili.

🧸Liverpool snapped up Mamardashvili from Valencia in the summer for £30m, on the understanding that the 24-year-old would remain in Spain this season.

🐼However, Liverpool only plan for their new goalkeeper to spend one season away from Anfield before arriving to begin his Premier League career next summer.

ꦫThe plan for Mamardashvili will be hammered out early in the New Year, and talks will be held with the goalkeeper to assess and discuss his immediate future.

🐟If Mamardashvili’s summer arrival is confirmed, then it will likely have an impact on Alisson and Kelleher.

On his part, Alisson had interest from Saudi Arabia🎐 last summer, but the goalkeeper decided to commit to Liverpool.

🌼Since, the Brazilian has seen a deal for Mamardashvili concluded, and Liverpool realise that selling 32-year-old Alisson could cover their expenditure.

🃏Liverpool are confident that a number of clubs would be interested in Alisson were he to become available, a goalkeeper who has won it all at Anfield.

🐬For Kelleher, he made it clear to Anfield bosses that he wanted to leave the club last summer.

And, despite Kelleher conceding five goals against Englandཧ, the Republic of Ireland international has made it clear that he’s ready to become a number one in his own right this season.

🌠Although Kelleher knows that is unlikely to ever happen at Liverpool.

ꦫAnd to that end, TBR understands that Liverpool have told Kelleher that they will allow him to leave next summer.
