Arne Slot is now questioning whether he still needs Liverpool’s £30m signing at Anfield next season

TBR Football understands that Liverpool have not ruled out keeping Alisson next season which could mean Giorgi Mamardashvili’s arrival at Anfield is delayed.

Liverpool signed Mamardashꦡvili for around £30 m🅺illion last summer and despite talks about a prospective loan to Bournemouth, he remained with Valencia for an🉐other season.

The Georgian goalkeeper is currently set to arrive at Anfield in the summer, however, things could change if Alisson remains๊ on Mersey💞side.

32-year-old Alisson still has over two years left on his deal and despite ther꧙e still being interest from Saudi Arabia, it is now not certain he leaves.

Sources have told TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey that whilst Giorgi Mamardashvili is currently due to join Liverpool this summer, no𝔍 final decision has yet been made by the club.

Despite holding talks, the Reds did not want to allow Alisson Becker to leave for the Saudi Pro League last summer.

There remains an interest from the Middle East but shoul💙d the Brazilian indeed remain at Anfield, then Liverpool would have a decision to make over Mamardashvili.
