Arne Slot praises Alisson Becker

Slot spoke incredibly highly of his goalkeeper.

Slot has only worked with Alisson for a mat🅰ter of months, but he already realises how incredible he is, stating that he has been outstanding for Liverpool for a number of years.

The🎉 Liverpool🐬 boss gushed over his goalkeeper when speaking to Amazon.

“Everybody would understand that I pick Alisson because I work with him now, but he was also really important when they won the Champions League a few years ago. Since I have worked with him, I have seen how special he is and how many important saves𒆙 he has already made. He has been outstanding for Liverpool all these years. It’s an easy pick for me to go for Alisson,” Slot said.

When is Alisson back from injury?

Alisson is undoubtedly one of Liverpool’s most importa👍nt players, and, frustrati𒆙ngly, he’s currently out of action with a hamstring problem.

So, the big question isജ, when will Alisson be back from injury?

Luckily, it sounds like Alissౠon may be back sooner ra🦋ther than later.

Indeed, Arne♛ Slot says Alisson will be back in a matter of weeks, but he’s likely to miss the🦄 Reds꧙’ game against Chelsea next week.

“♍The latest is that we don’t know but what we do know is that if a player walks off like he did, that normally means that he is not in the Brazil squad,” Slot said.

“I don’t expect him to be in the team in the first game we play after [the international break]🅷.

“We have to wait and see, but it is goingꦐ to take a few weeks I assume for him to be back. I think it is [his hamstring].”

Luckilဣy, Liverpool have a very solid deputy in the shape of Caoimhin Kelleher, so Alisson’s absence shouldn’t necessarily set Liverpool back too far as⛦ they head into a crucial part of the season.
