Antonee Robinson makes honest Mohamed Salah admission after Fulham draw at Liverpool

Liverpool and Fulham played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in Saturday’s Premier League encounter at Anfield.

The Cottagers gave a great aಞccount of themselves against the Reds as they twice took the lead and left Anfield with a point.

Fulham captain Antonee Robinson was impressive against Liverpool as he provওided both assists for his teammates to score.

Robinson, speaking to after the game, gave his verdict on Fulham’s draw at Anfield and also made an admission about Mohamed Salah.

Antonee Robinson says he initially struggled against Liverpool star Mohamed Salah

Robinson credited Liverpool for taking “꧂a lot of risks pushing men high” in the game, which helped them claim something from the game.

The Fulham captain also admitted that he felt like Salah 𝔍was getting the better of him in the first half, though he felt he improved in the second half.

“We were on even footing and🌸 then we scored and they go🍨t a red card,” he said on .

“They t🐻ook a lot of 🎐risks pushing men high and they were rewarded for it, There was space for us on the break but we didn’t capitalise.

“They piled the pressure on and were really positive, They brought Jota on. I felt like Salah was getting the better of me in the first 🐽half, I was on a b🔯ooking but I felt more myself in the second half.

“We’ve been managing to pick up resul💝ts against top teams, that’s the difference from last year. We’ve got 🐷injuries. It’s all about getting everyone back and staying consistent.”

How Fulham picked up a point at Liverpool

Fulham took the lead against Liverpool in the 1ಞ1th minute as Alex Iwobi found Robinson to tee up Andreas Per✃eira for the opener.

And just six minutes lat𒅌er, Reds full-back Andrew Robertson was sent off after denying Harry Wilson a goalscoring oppo🔯rtunity.

However, Liverpool equalised early on in the second half as Salah whipped in♓ a cross that Cody Gakpo converted at the back post.

Fulham retook the lead in the 75th minute as Robinson cut the ball back for Rodrigo Muniz to backheel past Alisson Becke🌼r in the Liverpool net.

However, Arne Slot’s impressive in-game management helped Liverpool pick up a point as subst﷽itute Diogo Jota slotted home two minutes from time.
