Ally McCoist suggests Ruben Amorim to copy one David Moyes tactic to save Manchester United player who ‘needs help’

After Manchester United drew 2-2 against Everton, Ruben Amorim has a dilemma on his hands that has perhaps impacted every manager at some point in their careers; whether to stick or twist with their tactical blueprint.

On one hand, Amorim’s system has been slated and he has been u🦹rged to change hi𓆉s style of play.

But others might argue that Ruben Amorim was appointed by Manchester United to incorporate his system into the first place and to devi🐬ate from that within months would be counterproductive.

Regardless of where one stands on the Portuguese coaꩲch’s tac💙tics, the fact of the matter is that a club of United’s stature cannot afford to be sitting in 15th place in the Premier League for too much longer.

The challenge for Ruben Amorim i🉐s that he seems to look in disbelief about how to get the best out of his group of players.

The Manchester United job was never expected to be a quick fix but simultaneously, for th♚em to be where they are in the league table was also considered the worst case scenario when Amorim was appointed.

Ruben Amorim told to use Rasmus Hojlund how David Moyes deploys Beto

Unlike Viktor Gyokeres, who was one of the key cogs behind the success of Ruben Amorim’s system at Sporting CP, Rasmus Hojlund has shown no signs that he is the man to lead the ♏line unde𝓰r the Red Devils boss.

While Joshua Zirkzee seems to be taking small steps towards improving, the same cannot be said about Hojlund, who has been slated as he continues to disappoint.

But according to Ally McCoist, Ruben Amorim should deploy the Danish international like David Moyes uses Beto at Everton by ensuring that he has bo🐓dies in close proximity and does not𝔍 get marked out of games.

McCoist said on talkSPORT: “Hojlund up front again, Jeff [Stelling], that’s becoming a bigger and bigger issue and a bigger proble🍰m. He’s not looking the part, he’s not looking like scoring, he looks isolated.”

“I was watching Everton for an hour and Beto was playing through the middle but [Abdoulaye] Doucoure was up next to him, [Jack] Harrison was getting forward, [Jesper] Lindstrom, they were getting support to him so he wasn’t a lone figure which is exactly what Hojlund was, there was nobody near him. He’s not p💛laying particularly well himself but he needs to get people around him and he needs 🅷help.”

Even Michael Owen adm✅itting to feeling sorry for Hojlund as in fಞairness to the 22-year-old, he does not get much service. However, Manchester United did ignore a clear warning sign from Gian Piero Gasperini, who managed Hojlund at Atalanta before signing him.

Manchester United coaches losing patience with Hojlund

Gasperini suggested Hojlund to stay at Atalanta for one🤪 more season due to his lack of experience at the top level.

However, the boyhood United followed followed hജis dreams and made his🅠 way to the Premier League.

But acco🌠rding to now, coaches at Manchester🍎 United are starting to lose patience with Hojlund as well.

After a🐓ll, the Copenhagen-born centre♋-forward has just two goals in the Premier League this campaign.

With Chido Obi replacing Hojlund against Everton, perhaps the former Arsenal wonderkid could take his place in the sideღ.

Ultimately, r🅰egardless of the tactics, the fact that the Manchester United frontman has bee🃏n as effective as he has all season is a major worry.
