Alistair Johnston absolutely loved ‘unbelievable’ Celtic player’s display vs Ross County

Callum McGregor will go down as one of Celtic’s greatest-ever players when he decides to call his playing career to a halt.

Yesterday’s win over Ross County marked the 30-year-old midfielder‘s 450th appear♉ance in the Hoops and it left Alistair Johnston looking on in awe at the career of the Celtic legend.

The Canadian international jo🐭ined Celtic almost a year ago to the day aဣnd even he cannot believe just how important McGregor is to the Parkhead side.

Johnston said [], “I’ve only been here for over a year and I heard when I came in what he mean๊t to the club.

‘He�� really is a living legend here and I see how he works d🦩ay in and day out.

“He works his socks off every day and he is the one leading it out on the training pitch, in the chang🐻ing room and on the pitch.

“I don’t want people taking it for granted because 450 appearances for a club like this with these standards is unbelievable.”
