75-touch Leeds United player was the unsung hero vs Norwich City, he won 6/7 duels

Leeds United held Norwich City to a goalless draw at Carrow Road on Sunday afternoon and one player was particularly impressive.

Daniel Farke will be pleased with his side’s display as they were a lot better def𓄧ensively than they have been in recent weeks.

A clean sheet at Carrow Road is no easy task but it wཧas a ꦅrelatively routine one for The Whites, who are now in pole position to advance to the final.

The second leg will take place at Elland Road on Thursday evening, with Leeds just needing a victorꦐy by any margin to♍ reach Wembley.

Junior Firpo was excellent against Norwich City

Since Junior Firpo’s switch from Barcelona in 2021, many have written him off but he’s 🔯been reignited under Farke’s stewardship.

Defensively, the 27-year-old has largely struggled throughout his time in West Yorkshire✨ but he excelled in that area on Sunday.

He was the standout performer and his statistics only amplℱify that notion. Here they are, as per .

Junior Firpo has become undroppable

Whilst out injured, it seemed Sam Byram was the first choice option at left-back, but that idea has d🧔windled now.

Firpo has become almost undroppable in Farke’s 11 and is showing a much more composed approach to his defౠending than🌌 previously – when he was erratic.

Few would’ve predicted his Leeds career to completely turn on it’s head but that’s credꦚit to his resiliance.
