£60 million is surely too much for Tottenham to justify on Malcom

Tottenham were interested in signing Malcom last summer, but could now be forced to pay almost £25 million more for the forward, according to , who claim that Barcelona𒀰 want £60 million to sell him this summer.

reported that the Lo♔ndon club pursued the Brazilian again in January, but a deal never materialised. Now, Barcelona could look to cash in given that Mal𒅌com has started just one game between La Liga and Champions League all season.

Despite having paid £35 million in the summer, the club feel that they can make a profit from the 22-year-old but the price tag would surely make Tottenham pause for thought before r꧙eturning for his services.

Whilst a marquee signing would⛦ be welcome to move into the club’s new stadium for their first full campaign there, questions would surely be asked whether a player who has failed to even make the bench at times for Barcelona would be that status of player.

With Harry Kane the clear and undisputed 𝓀first choice in attack, Malcom could compete with the likes of Heung Min Son for an advanced role, but would not com꧋e cheaply.

Given the doubts about his ability to adapt and his questionable record at the Camp Nou, £60 million seems t🐲oo high a price for Mauricio Pochettino to consider worthwhile.
