£50m striker Arsenal are trying everything to sign has now decided to join Manchester United

Arsenal are still pushing to sign a new striker before the transfer deadline on Monday night.

TBR Football understand Arsenal tried to sign Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig in an ambitious winter deal – although the Bundesliga outfit did no༺t cooperate.

Mikel Arteta desperately needs some added firepower in his attacking ranks – with G☂abriel Jesus nor Bukayo Saka expected to be available anytime soon after suffering serious injuries.

Now – however – a striker Arsenal are desperately trying to sign before the February 3rd transfer deadline has now opted to join Manchester United.

Mathys Tel chooses Manchester United

Florian Plettenburg of Sky Germany has now revealed that Mathys Tel wants to join the Red Devils.

The reliable journalist wr🌸ote on X (previously known as Twitter): “BREꦡAKING | Been told Mathys Tel has decided to join Manchester United with immediate effect. Concrete negotiations are underway between Bayern and Manchester United.

“Man Utd have submitted a loaဣn offer, which Bayern i🦹mmediately rejected. Bayern are not satisfied with the offered package from England. Bayern are pushing for an obligation to buy or a permanent transfer. Complicated. Talks are ongoing. Arsenal, not off.”

It comes amid a time where Arsenal are trying everything to sign Tel – who TBR Football understand has fallen ღout with Vincent Kompany over a lack of playing time.

The 19-year-old has failed to score in 14 appeaඣrances so far this season, wi🔜th one assist to show for his efforts.

How much Manchester United could need to pay for Mathys Tel

Tel rejected Tottenham𝓰 despite Spurs agreeing a €60m (£50m) fee with Bayern Munich – so Manchester United would presumably have to match that amount in order to sign the France U21 international.

A deal of that size would represent a major gamble for the Red Devils given the teenager’s lack of goals𝔍 this season, although he is a striker of real potential.

Tel has been compared to Thierry Henry and also praised by Harry Kane – so you can understand why Manchester⛦ United, Arsenal and Tottenham have 🐎all taken notice.
