It now seems as if it could be the end of the road at Leeds United for a defender on the periphery of things under Daniel Farke.
The January transfer window has now started to heat up for Farke’s side, and it seeꦯms it could be the ✅case of one in, one out.

Or perhaps that could be in reverse.
Although it seems that interest is now emerging for Everton’s Ben Godfrey – a playౠer who would be excellent in the Championship, it seems a Leeds player could depart first.
Leo Fuhr Hjelde has struggled to make the desired impact aꦑt Elland Road having signed from Celtic back in 2021.
And it now seems as if his move to Sunderl♔an♕d is near to completion today.
The Norway youth international has rarely featured for Farke’s Lee♐ds side, and it seems a move would now be best for t🍸he defender.
That being said, Norwegian journalist has now shared the latest on the move 𝓰over on X.
The journalist stated that Hjelde could leave Leeds as soon as tonight, with a move to Sunderl🅺and now all but agreed.
Norwegian defender Leo Fuhr Hjelde could leave Daniel Farke’s Leeds toay
Sharing an update 🗹on his compatriot, Ould-Saada stated that Sunderland would pay up to £1.5m for the versatile defender.
He said: “The Norwegian U21 national team player Leo Fuhr Hjelde (20) has agreed with Sunderland on a 4.5-year contract and will 🐼probably sign tonight𒆙, according to TV 2’s information.
“Hjelde is undergoing a medical today and is being sold for £1-1ꦺ.5M from Leeds Unite🧜d.”
Of course, as stated, this move could bode very well for Leeds if Farke was able to pursue interest in a defender like Ben Godf𓄧💖rey.
Although on the periphery of things ꦆunder Sean Dyche, Godfrey is an Engla﷽nd international and his ability and potential is being rather downplayed these days.
Dyche’s decision to leave Godfrey out shouldn’t tarnish his reputation, rather it just demonstrates a differen༒ce in styles.
An⭕d with a view to returning to the Premier League, Godfrey would be a very welcome addition.
That being said, Leeds🅠 are also sai🤡d to be close to another impressive signing.
