Young Tottenham star Antonio Conte absolutely loves player to watch in 2023 – opinion
Tottenham Hotspur’s young players haven’t had the easiest time under Antonio Conte.
The Italian has been happy to keep a number of young players in the first-team squad, without offering them many minutes.
The likes of Bryan Gil and Japhet Tanganga could leave the club in January to earn more minutes.
The Spaniard in particular is keen to move away from north London for the remainder of the season.
There are a number of talented young players waiting in the wings for their opportunity.

And one player to watch in 2023 who will be hoping to get that chance is Alfie Devine.
Devine has already written his name into Tottenham’s history books, as he’s currently their youngest ever scorer.
His goal – in his one and only appearance – against Marine came when he was just 16 years and five months old.
Since then, Devine has been an unused substitute in the Premier League five times since signing from Wigan in 2021.
However, despite his lack of opportunities, Devine has already made an impact on Conte.
.
It won’t be long until Devine is introduced to first-team action once again.
Tottenham’s Devine one to watch in 2023
The 18-year-old is an attacking midfielder, but his versatility is a big positive.
Devine can play as a false nine, a deeper central midfielder, or even out wide if necessary.
A hamstring injury hampered his start to the campaign, but not before having a very productive pre-season.
Devine was part of Conte’s senior squad that travelled to South Korea, and stayed with the team when they returned.
He’s been in first-team training as recently as this month, and with players still returning from the World Cup, could end up being involved when the season restarts.

believes Devine is likely to go on loan in January.
The club that Tottenham loan him to will say a lot about his current level, but he looks more than ready to play regular senior football.
He has come off the bench twice during the mid-season break, making cameos against Motherwell and Peterborough.
believe Conte is a big fan of Devine, and he too believes the 18-year-old is a player to watch closely.
The England under-19 international was part of the side that won the European Championship this summer.
Devine certainly isn’t lacking talent, he just needs to find the right opportunities in 2023 to continue developing into the top-class player he’s capable of becoming.
