Young Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has called ‘very good’ spotted in training ahead of Girona clash

Arsenal will look to reach the last 16 of the Champions League as they face La Liga side Girona on Wednesday night.

The Gunners need only one point against Girona to completely make sure of a top-eight finish in the group stage.

Only a highly unlikely string of results will now deny Arsenal a spot in the last 16 following their 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb last week.

With Manchester City to come at the weekend, Mikel Arteta could potentially rotate his starting XI for the game at the Montilivi.

And an Arsenal academy midfielder described as “very good” by Jack Wilshere was spotted in first-team training ahead of the match.

What has been said about Salah

has described Salah as a ‘creative midfielder capable of producing moments of magic’.

Meanwhile, Gunners youth team expert  said Salah is ‘capable of performing effectively as an attacking midfielder or out wide and possesses excellent technical ability.’

In 2022, former Arsenal youth coach Jack Wilshere told Stadium Astro: “there’s a boy called Salah who is really good coming through. There’s a lot of players in that group who are technically very, very good.”

It has been reported that Edu has ‘personally recommended’ Salah to Nottingham Forest.
