‘You can see’… Jordan Pickford shares what he’s noticed about Kobbie Mainoo during England camp this week
Jordan Pickford has issued his verdict on Kobbie Mainoo after the Manchester United youngster made his full debut for England in the draw with Belgium on Tuesday night.
It is probably fair to say that this international break has done little to convince Gareth Southgate’s doubters that he is going to lead𓆉 his side to glory at Euro 2024 this summer.
England followed their defeat to Brazil by needing Jude Bellingham to equalise right at the end of the gꦜame against Belgium to earn a draw.
It certainly seems that some playe🌳rs have not strengthened their claims for a place on the plane.
However, one player who has stood out is Kobbie Mainoo. Mainoo was praiౠsed for his cameo against Selecao, as he came on to make his international debut.

And it seems that he has managed to catch the eye once again. Speaking to , Jordan Pickford suggested that he has been impressed by the Manchesไter United youngster throughout the season.
“He’s quality. I think he made his debut for Man United against Everton earlier this season and dictated the game pretty much. He’s not been out the side since. He’s come in and I think he’s just done what he’s been doing at Man United. You can see he’s a top 🐻talent,” he said.

It has been a remarkable rise for Mainoo. He had only made three appearances ♏for the Manchester United first-team before that game against Everton in November.
Now however, he appears to be Erik ten Hag’s best-performing central mi🐽dfielder. And he certainly appears to be in with a very good chance of going to Germany with his country in the summer.
Of course, plenty will be wary of piling too much pressure on Mainoo’s shoulders. Some felt 🌺that Mainoo should not have been in the England squad before this break.
But he has passed every test with f✨lying colours so far. And man🔯y of his teammates have been just as impressed as the rest of us who watched him over the last few months.
