‘You beautiful man’: Leeds fans react to Patrick Bamford contract news

Leeds fans have been celebrating on social media today after hearing that Patrick Bamford penned a new contract with the club last summer.

reported the news, claiming that Bamford had agreed an extra year’s extension to his current Elland Road deal, although it had slipped under the radar somewhat.

Bamford has been in exceptional form for the Whites this season, scoring 15 PL goals in an impressive season back in the top flight.

News of a deal which sees him with the club for even longer than anticipated is clearly good news for all concerned. Bamford is settled with Leeds, while Marcelo Bielsa clearly sees him as his key asset in terms of attacking players.

And Leeds fans, too, were obviously delighted with the news, with Twitter full of comments lauding the report from Ornstein.

Bamford is clearly a well-liked player at Elland Road and that was the feeling on social media as Whites fans celebrated the contract news.
