‘You are the man’…Joe Willock and Bruno Guimaraes left amazed on Instagram by Newcastle teammate’s display
Joe Willock and Sven Botman were amongst those to laud Alexander Isak on social media after the forward scored in Newcastle United’s emphatic win over Chelsea on Saturday.
Isak took to after marking his return to the side by scoring the opening goal as Eddie Howe’s men ran out 4-1 victors at St James’ Park.
Alexander Isak had missed Newcastle’s previous three league games. The Magpies had only managed to win one of those games.

There was speculation that Newcastle could look at signing a striker in January. But Isak reminded everyone of his quality, doing brilliantly to make the most of Lewis Miley’s superb pass to break the deadlock against the Blues.
Clearly, Isak’s Newcastle teammates were delighted for the Sweden international. The 24-year-old took to Instagram to celebrate making his return to the pitch on Saturday.
And amongst those to reply were Joe Willock, Bruno Guimaraes and Sven Botman…
Magpies have potential superstar
Not enough is being said about Isak’s record so far this season. The former Borussia Dortmund star has now scored seven goals in nine games in the Premier League. Only four players have scored more than Isak so far.
Kieran Trippier believes that Isak can become one of the best strikers in the world. And it really does feel as though he has the talent to live up to expectations. He has done amazingly well to bounce back from a difficult spell with Dortmund.
Newcastle have been vindicated for signing the striker. He has now scored 17 goals in 31 Premier League games.
If he can be lucky with injuries in the years to come, Newcastle definitely have a superstar on their hands.
