Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has claimed that he’s tempted to start Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Emile Smith Rowe and Martin Odegaard all together ahead of the game against Wolves tonight.

The Gunners are in a happy place at the moment thanks to where they are in the league table. Arteta’s men are just four points off fourth-place Manchester United but Arsenal have three games in hand over the Red Devils.

Arsenal’s top-four hopes are in their own hands now and it’s all thanks to Arteta and his young players. Saka and 21-year-old Smith Rowe take all the headlines but Martinelli and Odegaard have been fantastic as well over the last few weeks.

Arteta was quizzed about the possibility of playing all four of them together and the Arsenal boss admitted that he’s tempted. He claimed that Smith Rowe, who is set to start tonight against Wolves, is more than capable of playing as a left attacking midfielder.

The Arsenal manager said, as per : “They have played together – Emile played as a left attacking midfielder, which is another position he can play.

“I am tempted, yes, because they want to play and when you see players training and playing the way they do, you want to throw them all on the pitch. Unfortunately, 11 is the limit.”

Asked if Martinelli or Smith Rowe could play up top, he said: “It depends on the role you want them to play and the role you want from the nine. They have very different qualities, they would change our structure and the spaces that we would attack, the positions that would threaten, how they fix the opponent in certain areas.

“They have changed quite a lot of positions as well and we have to be careful sometimes with how much we change them. But the moment they are ready, it is another opportunity to use them as well in the future.”

Smith Rowe’s expected to keep his place

It is every Arsenal fan’s dream to see a front-four of Martinelli, Smith Rowe, Saka and Odegaard.

The four players have been absolutely amazing for Arsenal this season and it is clear to everyone that they are the future of the North London club.

Arsenal take on Wolves tonight in what will surely be a very difficult game. Arteta has claimed that he’s tempted to use all four of them together, but the game today may not be the right one for that change.

Smith Rowe, after his brilliant goal last weekend, is expected to keep his place, but the dream front-four of the 21-year-old alongside Saka, Martinelli and Odegaard is a likely option for Arteta at some point in the near future.
