Yerry Mina’s form has Everton and admiring eyes impressed this summer according to report

Everton defender Yerry Mina is reportedly catching the eye of teams around Europe this summer with his performances at the Copa America. Mina’s form has been impressive enough to have teams taking interest in the transfer status of the Everton man. Fenerbahce are mentioned as one interested party.

It is easy to see why teams might be keen on Mina. His form in Brazil has been eye-catching. Looking at his statistics from last season at Everton, foreign clubs might believe they have a chance of securing his signature.

This came after Everton paid a reported () £27.2 million to sign Mina from Barcelona last summer.

Mina had excelled at the World Cup with Colombia and a year on he is again performing well with his nation.

that Everton have no desire to sell their Colombian centre-back. The report states that Mina’s performances in South America make his departure from Everton even more unlikely.

With Kurt Zouma’s loan spell over it could very well be that Mina is starting alongside Michael Keane come the beginning of the season. So a sale, despite recent whispers, never seemed likely.

Everton fans will just hope Mina brings his form and fitness from Copa America to Merseyside next season.
