Yaya Toure says Arsenal have a player he absolutely loves to watch

Yaya Toure has been comparing Manchester City’s squad to some of the best players in the Premier League.

As a Manchester City legend, Toure found it hard to make some of these decisions, and he was torn when he was asked to compare Rodri and Declan Rice to one another.

Rodri and Rice are two of the best holding midfield players in the Premier League. Rice has earned tons of plaudits🥂 this season, while Rodri is the incumbent Ballon d’Or holder.

Tour🎃e found it very hard to choose between these two players,🌳 but, ultimately, he went for Rodri.

However, despite picking Rodri over Rice, the Ivorian noted that he’s a huge fan of the Arsenal man, claiming th🌄at he loves him as a player and believes he’s very good.

“Rodri or Declan Rice?” Toure was asked.

“Oh no, man tha꧙t is my two-player one. R🎃odri is good, but Declan Rice is very good. I love him, I love Declan Rice. But I’m going to go for Rodri,” Toure said.

Declan Rice has been compared to Yaya Toure

It’s not surprising to hear that♊ Toure is a bi🌊g fan of Toure. After all, these two players are very similar in their profiles.

Indeed, Toure and Rice ar🐷e both incredibly poweꩵrful, strong runners who can do incredible work in either box.

In fact, Thierry Henry has previously comp♍ared Rice to Toure when he started adding more goals to his game.

“Do you know the best example of that? It’s Yayꦐa Toure,” said Henry when discussing Rice’s positional shift.

“For a long time at Barcelona he had to cover Iniesta an🍰d Xavi. That was his job, so he didn’t come with a lot of goals or assists and what we saw of him.

“At City𝐆 he✃ played higher and suddenly the goals came!”

Of course, Rice hasn’t been as prolific as Toure. After all, Toure once scored 20 league goals in a season at Manchester City, but after Kai Havertz’s injury, there is a case to make that Rice should play further forward.
