Yannick Bolasie sends message to Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Yannick Bolasie has sent a message to Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin on Twitter after the youngster scored twice as the Toffees beat Chelsea 3-1.
Duncan Ferguson’s first game in caretaker charge could have hardly gone better. They moved themselves out of the relegation zone with a fantastic performance at Goodison Park.

Richarlison put Everton in front early on. And Calvert-Lewin doubled the lead shortly after the break. The youngster took full advantage of some poor defending from the Blues.
Chelsea did pull one back. But Calvert-Lewin ensured that it would be Everton celebrating the win with six minutes of normal time remaining. Once again, the visitors’ defence were at fault.

It was a fantastic way for Everton to bounce back. Marco Silva’s tenure ended with three straight defeats. And the supporters would have been forgiven for fearing that it was not going to get any easier, with games against Manchester United, Leicester City and Arsenal set to follow after the clash with Chelsea.
But they have made a fantastic start to life after Silva. And Bolasie – who remains on the club’s books despite never making an appearance under the Portuguese – was full of praise for one of his teammates on social media.
The £25 million winger (via ) – who is on loan at Sporting – heaped praise on Calvert-Lewin on social media and urged the forward to keep pushing.
Here is what Bolasie posted…
Happy for you my g ⚽️⚽️ ??
