Yannick Bolasie confirms he’s fit and still backing Everton despite being overlooked
Everton defeated Salford City in the EFL Cup last night, winning 3-0 at Goodison Park in a comfortable win.
Manager Carlo Ancelotti made several changes to the side that beat Tottenham at the weekend, with the likes of Jonjoe Kenny, Niels Nkounkou, and Anthony Gordon given the chance to impress.
Impress they did, especially Gordon, who was in fine form down the left-hand side with debutant Nkounkou.
But one man who would have been hoping to feature on the left-hand side would have been Yannick Bolasie.

The Everton signing is back at the club following loan spells at Aston Villa, Anderlecht, and Sporting Lisbon and has been working hard to recover his fitness.
Unfortunately, he was not included in the squad for the Salford game, despite the changes.
However, Bolasie is one of the more positive players in the game and when asked if he was injured by a fan he made it clear that was not the case. However, all the toys stayed in the pram, with the DR Congo winger just happy the Everton squad was looking so strong.
Not injured mate…strong squad 💪🏿 exactly what we want! 🔵

He went on to support the Everton players throughout the game on Twitter and it is clear that he is still fully behind the team, despite his currently diminished role in the first-team.
Siggyyy!!!! Neils & Gordy I love that down the left lads 🤩!

Hopefully, Bolasie can work his way back to playing regular first-team football at Everton, or elsewhere, for this season as there is no doubt he is one of the good guys.
