‘Wow, what a player’… Micah Richards totally blown away by one Tottenham star
Micah Richards has lavished praise on one Tottenham player after seeing his performance against Luton Town on Saturday.
Spurs went into the international break with a sour taste in their mouths. They suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat at the hands of Fulham, and they had to sit on that result for two weeks.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side were welcomed back with a game at home against Luton Town. On paper, it was the perfect fixture for them to bounce back, but Rob Edwards’ side took the lead early on and made Spurs work really hard.
Thankfully for Postecoglou, Tottenham dug deep and picked up a 2-1 win in the end.

Micah Richards amazed by one Tottenham player vs Luton Town
Ange Postecoglou has improved almost every single Tottenham player since he became the manager of the club.
Spurs always had a good team, but many felt that their players were shackled and forced to play without any real freedom when Antonio Conte was at the helm.
That made Tottenham a really frustrating team to watch last season, but Postecoglou has come in and transformed them into one of the most exciting sides in the country.
That is bringing the best out of Tottenham’s attackers, and one player, in particular, has been having a very impressive season at the top end of the pitch – skipper Heung-min Son.
The South Korean had a disappointing campaign last time out. He had to step up this season, and Harry Kane’s departure combined with the fact that he was named the captain put even more pressure on him.
Son, however, has silenced his critics, and Micah Richards was blown away by his performance against Luton Town on Saturday.
He said on the : “Yeah, they found a way and I was ecstatic because (Son was my FPL captain).
“Did you see his chance that went off one post and onto the other… Oh my God! I thought it was going to be a bad day but then, he pulls one (out).
“Son, honestly, wow, what a player he is and continues to be.”
Stats show major improvement in Heung-min Son under Ange Postecoglou
Heung-min Son will be the first one to admit that he had a disappointing season last time out. He was carrying an injury as well, which played a part.
Since the start of this season, however, Son has been on another level.
The Korean, despite playing over 700 minutes less in the Premier League, has five more goals and two more assists to his name for Tottenham compared to last season.
Son also averages 2.6 shots and 1.8 key passes per game this season, which are both better than his numbers from the previous campaign ().
Being injury-free has definitely helped, but we feel Ange Postecoglou’s system has had a hugely positive impact on Son. That has made him a much better player this season.
