‘Wow’… Leeds told they have three substitutes who would easily walk into any other Championship team

Leeds United have one of the strongest squads in the Championship.

The Whites have gone on a long unbeaten run in recent weeks, and their assault on the top two has been nothing short of remarkable.

The Yorkshire club have a squad that is, quite simply, too good for the Championship, and speaking on the , Ben Parker has been discussing Leeds’ embarrassment of riches in terms of squad depth.

The pundit says that Leeds’ squad depth is absolutely massive, claiming that the Whites actually have three bench players who would walk into any other Championship side in the shape of Sam Byram, Connor Roberts and Daniel James.

Leeds’ squad depth is incredible

Parker spoke about Leeds’ depth.

“Huge, it’s massive and it puts, not pressure, on the other players playing, but the competition for places. If you can bring in the likes of Sam Byram, Connor Roberts and Dan James into a game, wow, I think those would walk into any other team in the league. The squad is strong and they’re helping each other navigate through the games,” Parker said.

Remarkable

Parker is spot on, Leeds’ squad depth is utterly incredible for this level.

The Whites’ squad is almost Premier League ready, and, to be honest, it’s not really a level playing field in the Championship right now.

These recently relegated teams have the finances and the players that are miles ahead of the standard in the Championship, and we’re not at all surprised to see Leeds completely dominating the division recently.

The Whites’ squad is just miles ahead of many of their rivals. As Parker says, the likes of Roberts and James are incredible players – one was the best right-back in the Championship last season and the other has played Champions League football for Manchester United, players like this shouldn’t be in the Championship, let alone on the bench in this division.
