‘Wow’, ‘delightful’: Lineker and Carragher wowed by one Aston Villa player’s display v Leeds

Aston Vil༺la ace Philippe Coutinho delivered an outstanding display for Steven Gerrard’s side against Leeds on Wednesday.

The Villans Janu▨ary signing was involved in all t𝓡hree goals as Gerrard’s charges played out a 3-3 draw against the Whites.

Villa fell behind to Dan James’ eightꩵh-minute goal against the run of play, but 💛Coutinho equalised on the half-hour mark.

The Bra꧟zilian picked up some s♕pace on the edge of the area after a pinpoint ball from Matty Cash and rifled into the bottom corner.

Eight minutes later🔜, Coutinho picked out Aaron Ramsey with a wonderful slide-rule pass, and the Villa youngster duly slotted home.

The Barcelona loanee then combined wi🤪th Ramsey two minutes before the break, picking out his teammate on the right.

The 20-year-old let rip wi🤪th an unstoppable effort into the top-right corner to put Villa 3-🌳1 ahead.

Sadly for Villa, they couldn’t hold on as Leeds pulled one back through James before the break and Diego Llorente equalised j꧟ust bef𝕴ore the hour.

The defender picked up a second yellow after catching the keeper unnecessarily with a forearm as he tried to stop 🌼Meslier from releasing the ball early

Despite the draw and sending off, there are still plenty of✅ positives for the c♑laret-and-blue fanbase.
