‘Would be perfect’ – Arsenal fans call for club to move for Memphis Depay following Lyon showing

Some Arsenal fans are calling on the club to make a move for Lyon forward, Memphis Depay, after the Dutchman helped the French side overcome Juventus in the Champions League last night.

Depay, who had a poor spell in England with Manchester United, has been a shining light for Lyon in recent seasons, smashing in the goals to once again show he is a top player in Europe.

Indeed, Depay has been linked with a move back to England, with claiming at the beginning of July that Arsenal could move for Depay to replace either Aubameyang or Lacazette.

And following last night’s display at Juventus, it seems Depay is hot on the lips of Gunners fans once again, with a number of them taking to Twitter to discuss the Dutch flyer.

It seems, then, that Depay would be more than welcome at The Emirates if some of the comments are anything to go by.
