‘Worth every penny’: Pundit urges Liverpool to sign star Henderson said is ‘miles ahead of me’

pundit Gabriel Agbonlahor has backed Jude Bellingham to take Anfield by storm if he signs for Liverpool.

claims that the former Premier League champions are leading the race to sign the talented teenager.

At just 18-years-old the Dortmund player is catching the eye of several top-flight clubs ahead of a return to England.

Bellingham came through the youth ranks at Birmingham and headed for the Bundesliga outfit in July 2020.

He has taken no time at all to make a name for himself at Dortmund.

The England man has made 22 appearances this season, scoring three goals and claiming nine assists already.

Agbonlahor enjoyed a solid Premier League career with Aston Villa and he can see Bellingham at Liverpool.

“He’d be worth every penny. You’re going to get that longevity out of him, aren’t you?

“He’s going to keep improving.

“You can picture him, Henderson and Fabinho playing as a three in midfield. He’s a perfect signing for Liverpool.”

Bellingham won’t come cheap in the summer but Liverpool look to be going big.

It’s been a year or two since they properly strengthened their team and the summer transfer window looks like being a big one.

Back in September, Henderson admitted that Bellingham is of where Henderson was at the same age.

The Liverpool captain was in the England squad with Bellingham at the summer’s Euro 2020 and knows all about his qualities.

Bellingham would be a truly sensational addition to the Anfield ranks.

Despite his tender years, the teenager has plenty of experience, playing over 100 games at first-team level.

It would be quite something if Liverpool could pull this deal off and it’d set Liverpool’s midfield ranks up for years to come.

Henderson won’t be going forever and Bellingham would be a tremendous long-term replacement for the influential star.
