‘Worth £70m’… Newcastle fans hail player who shone alongside Alexander Isak in win at Ipswich
Newcastle United have recorded two consecutive 4-0 wins in the Premier League after hammering Ipswich Town on Saturday.
The Magpies, who thrashed Leicester City 4-0 last week and also saw off Brentford in the Carabao Cup, made light work of the Blues at Portman Road.
Alexander Isak was the hero of the day as he bagged a hat-trick for Newcastle, with his first goal coming in the opening minute of the game.
Jacob Murphy also got on the score-sheet and also provided an outstanding back-heeled assist for Isak to complete his hat-trick.
And while much of the spotlight was on Isak, Newcastle fans were eager to praise another player for dazzling alongside the Swede.

Newcastle fans wowed by Jacob Murphy in win over Ipswich
The player in question is Murphy, who has been in great form lately and was on another level against Ipswich.
One fan said “credit where it’s due Murphy that is outrageous” and another wrote “Jacob Murphy just channels Ronaldinho when he feels like it”.
The praise kept coming, with one fan writing: “Man, what a goal. It’s absolutely out of this world from Jacob Murphy.
“These last couple of weeks from him have been sublime. One of the assists of the season to top it off.”
Another said: “Murphy is a chance creation machine once again. Six assists for the season, playing like prime CR7.”
And one admitted: “I’m not Murphy’s biggest fan but that is one of the best assists I’ve ever seen, unreal.”
Murphy media ratings v Ipswich
gave Murphy a 9 out of 10 rating for his superb efforts at Portman Road.
“A wonder goal, a cheeky assist and several other chances created,” they wrote. “Continued his stunning form after his assist vs Leicester. Unplayable.”
Likewise, the went with a 9 out of 10, writing: “Played a key role in the opening goal and put in some dangerous crosses.
“Scored his third goal in two matches with a powerful angled finish off the crossbar. Helped make it 4-0 with a clever assist for Isak’s hat-trick.”
