‘World-class’ midfielder has rejected Liverpool because he wants to join Manchester United

Both Manchester United and Liverpool are thought to be keen to add a new midfielder to their respective projects this summer.

Erik ten Hag’s side are looking to add quality to their midfield and could make a move their priority after concluding deals for Joshu🌞a Zirzkee and Leny Yoro.

TBR Football recently shared that Manuel Ugarte was keen to join United – e🔴ven if it remains to be seen if a transfer can be agreed.

But United are looking to move on a host of names this summer including Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and perౠhaps even Scott McTominay despite Ten Hag’s recent words.

Of course, new Liverpool manager Arne Slot is also thought to have communicated that he would like to add a new m♊idfielder as w💯ell as a centre-back.

Transfer news has been frustratingly slow for Liverpool fans t꧑his season, with no new signings ❀arriving at Anfield thus far.

And according to reports in Ita🀅ly, it would appear that Liverpool have now suffered another set-back having already watched Yoro join United earlier this month.

Adrien Rabiot has rejected Liverpool in favour of Man United move

According to , both Liverpool and United are intensely interested in signing Adrien Rabiot this summer, the formeꦕr Juventus pꦉlayer who is now a free agent.

29-year-old Rabiot impressed for France at the Euros, p🔴roving what he still has to offer top sides around Europe.

The aforem🐎entioned report believes that Rabiot will head to the Premier League this summer, just not to Live༒rpool.

Rabiot is said to have rejected an offer from Liverpool because he has a clear ta🌳rget in mind: heading to Old Trafford.

Fortunately, the information details that United have been following the Frenchman’s career ‘closely’ for several years now, perhaps meaning he could finally make his way꧒ to Manchester.

Of course, in terms of Liveဣrpool’❀s needs this summer, Rabiot perhaps doesn’t represent the perfect option for Slot anyway.

Rabiot is a ‘world-class’ box-to-box midfielder, but Slot only has a vacancy for a number six, a defensive presence who can alsဣo dictate his new side’s passing.

But with Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo in their ranks, Manchester United would appear a more harmonious fit for Rabiot.
