‘World class’ manager would happily take the Manchester United job
Manchester United may be looking for a new manager this summer.
Erik ten Hag may have won the FA♍ Cup at Wembley last weekend, but questions continue to be asked about the Dutchman’s future.
Ten Hag could still end up leaving Manchester United, and there are plenty of managers being linked🔜 with a move to Old Trafford.
Speaking on , Ben Jacobs has been discussing United’s managerial situation, and he’s named Mauricio Pochettino as someone who could come in, claiming that the Argentine would take the United job if he was offered it as he wants to get straight back intܫo mana🧜gement after leaving Chelsea.

Mauricio Pochettino would take the Manchester United job
Jacobs shared wha🥀t he knows about the ‘’ manager and United.
“They know Pochettino well and Pochettino would take the Manchester United job I’m told. He wants to get straight ba🦹ck into footba🥀ll and he has no reservations and United have no reservations about Pochettino’s time at Chelsea,” Jacobs said.
Pochettino a good fit for United
Pochettino didn’t have the best of time🐷s at Chelsea, but he could be a great fit for United.
As we saw at Southampton and Tottenham, Pochettino is excellent at bringing young players through and helping them reach their pot♔ential.
United, quite clearly, want to build around youth over the next few years as the likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo and Rasmus Hojlund become more and more important at Old Trafford.
Chris Sutton has previously vouched for Pochettin🅰o getting the United job as well.
“Pochettino has made progress at Chelsea. Talk about Manchester United and their brand of football, let’s have it right do you kn🙈ow what their id🌱entity is? At least at Chelsea under Pochettino you could see a progressive young team. United fans are entitled to their opinion, but it’s off one game, and you need to look beyond that,” Sutton said.
United have a number of big decisions to make, starting with if they 🔜even want to change manager, but if Ten Hag is to go, perhaps Pochettino would be the Red Devils’ best bet.
