‘Working on final details’: Romano claims ‘extraordinary’ Arsenal-linked talent is now joining PL rivals
Arsenal have been linked with Chelsea’s Levi Colwill in recent weeks.
According to the , Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has been keeping tabs on the Blues talent.
Arsenal are far from the only club reportedly wanting to sign Colwill, however.

As well as the Gunners, the likes of and were in pursuit.
However, Fabrizio Romano has now claimed that Brighton have won the race for the 19-year-old defender.
The transfer insider took to Twitter with updates on both Marc Cucurella and Colwill.
While Cucurella will swap Brighton for Chelsea, Colwill will be going in the opposite direction.
However, Romano stressed that they are two different deals.
Colwill dazzled on loan at Championship outfit Huddersfield last season.
He made 32 appearances for the Terries and helped them reach the playoff final, where they lost to Nottingham Forest.
In April, former Chelsea ace Paul Canoville Colwill to be “by far the better player” over Andreas Christensen.
Also, scouting website recently described him as a “teen sensation” with “extraordinary potential”.
Colwill would’ve been a great shout for Arsenal, but admittedly, the Gunners already boast a superb defence.
Arsenal may have not been able to give him regular game time, something the Seagulls could probably do right away.
