There were whispers around two weeks ago which suggested that the 19-year-old could leave the Emirates Stadium this summer, and the teenager’s exit has now been confirmed as he prepares to join Brighton.

It was end product such as that which led to Saka comparisons, as the claimed that coaches within Hale End liken Cozier-Duberry to the England international.
Newcastle were also keen to sign the teenager from Arsenal after hearing that he could depart – while Wolves showed interest too – although it is Brighton who have now won the race for his signature.
Mikel Arteta must be careful
Of course, it is hard to blood young talent when the margins are so fine in tense title races up against Manchester City – where there is little room to breathe.
However, Mikel Arteta does need to find a better pathway for young talent at Arsenal, or else more could follow Cozier-Duberry in leaving north London.

Some insiders at Arsenal even thought the aforementioned Nwaneri might leave before the Gunners managed to change his mind, and he eventually signed a new contract.
