Some Rangers fans react as Steven Davis shows off classy Northern Ireland milestone gift
Glasgow Rangers midfielder Steven Davis reached an incredible milestone this week, the Ibrox star becoming the most capped player in the United Kingdom.
The 36-year-old picked up his 126th cap in Northern Ireland’s goalless draw with Bulgaria at Windsor Park on Wednesday night.
Davis has surpassed England legend Peter Shilton, the previous record holder on 125 caps, and is now level with Slovakia icon Marek Hamsik and Italy legend Paolo Maldini.

On Sunday, the Gers icon was in action against the United States in Belfast, a game which the visitors won 2-1.
And on Thursday, in response to the Irish FA’s message of congratulations for Davis, US Soccer responded by sharing a photo of the player holding up a jersey with the number “126” on the back.
Congrats to 's on becoming the most-capped senior men's international player in the UK.
Before departing Belfast we left Steven a gift for the big occasion. 👏 🇺🇸
