‘Won the game already’: Harry Maguire names Tottenham and West Ham stars in his ultimate five-a-side team
England centre-back Harry Maguire has named his ultimate five-a-side team and included Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane and West Ham United captain Declan Rice.
The mood among the England camp appears to be high, a feature of all of Gareth Southgate’s tournament squads.
The team are still unbeaten having finished top of Group B.

Back-to-back clean sheets against the USA and Wales have set up a last-16 tie against Senegal.
John Stones is likely to be Maguire’s partner at the back once again on Sunday.
Maguire named the Man City defender in his five-a-side team alongside himself at the back.
The 29-year-old also put Cristiano Ronaldo in his team, the only player not in the England squad to make the cut.
Maguire names his ultimate five-a-side team
, Maguire was asked to make up his team just from players he’s played against.
“Stonesy at the back,”
“I’d go for Kane up top, whenever we play five-a-side he’s top goalscorer every time.
“Cristiano in there. Those two together, you’ve won the game already.
“I’d put myself in there. And then I’d go with a midfielder, I’d go with Declan Rice.
“He protects everything doesn’t he. We’ll let Ronnie and H go and score the goals.”

Despite being asked to pick just players he’s played against, all four of Maguire’s choices are current teammates.
He’s also failed to pick a goalkeeper, although it would be hard to get through a back three of Rice, Maguire and Stones.
Rice has plenty of fans, including former Man United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.
His mix of defensive and technical attributes would make him a very good five-a-side player.
Harry Kane would act as a long-range goal threat, given his pinpoint shooting accuracy and fantastic playmaking ability.
A report from has found that Kane isn’t really sprinting in Qatar.
It wouldn’t be important in Maguire’s five-a-side team, but Southgate may be concerned about his fitness.
