Wolves target Patrick Cutrone should bring the best out of Raul Jimenez
Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly close to securing a deal for AC Milan’s Patrick Cutrone.
the 21-year-old attacker has travelled to England ahead of a medical.
The report details that he’s set to complete a £16million switch from the San Siro to Molineux.
Cutrone scored nine goals in 43 games across all competitions last season and is a rising talent that could turn out to be a real coup for the Premier League.
The Italian centre-forward is a rising star that has coped well in Serie A and has the strength to lead the line in English football.
He will add some much-needed depth to Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad, which is certainly needed considering their competitive season has already commenced with Europa League qualifiers.
Cutrone’s expected arrival could even bring the best out of Wolves striker Raul Jimenez, who turned his loan switch into a permanent one this summer.

Jimenez was the star man in attack for Wolves last seasons coring 17 goals and supplying eight assets in 44 games cross all competitions.
The Mexican had very little support though behind him in the squad and no competition pushing him for a starting position.
Cutrone is likely to come in as an understudy for Jimenez and rotate due to the busy fixture list, which could be a great incentive for him.
Jimenez, 28, may need to up his levels slightly to retain the number one striker and Wolves will feel the benefit if he manages to improve on anyway from last year.
