Wolves should plot move for Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira next season

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Nuno Espirito Santo has enjoyed brilliant success this season with his small squad and is chasing a seventh-placed finish in the Premier League, while also preparing for an FA Cup semi-final.

But he should be open to adding a couple more faces at Molineux for the next campaign, especially if they end up with the bonus of European football.

The West Midlands club should consider targeting Manchester United’s Andreas Pereira in the summer for a loan spell.

, Manchester United are considering sending the 23-year-old Brazilian out on loan from Old Trafford for the whole of next season.

It is understood that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants the midfielder to sign a new four-year deal to commit his long-term future to the club before departing on loan.

The report details that Leicester City are keen on landing Pereira, as their manager Brendan Rodgers is a long-term admirer and others teams across Europe are also interested.

Wolves should hijack Leicester’s interest in Pereira and consider offering him a first-team route next season with them.

The South American talent has immense potential and previously showed that on loan with Valencia last season, while he’s played 15 senior games for Manchester United this term.

His strengths are that he’s a versatile midfielder capable of being tidy in possession and dictating play, but he can also be pushed further forward too if needed or into wide areas.

Wolves could do with another creative midfielder in their ranks because it’s unlikely they will be so fortunate with injuries again, which is why Pereira could be great cover for Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho.
