Wolves should battle PL club for German defender this summer
Wolverhampton Wanderers should think about rivalling Tottenham Hotspur for Freiburg defender Robin Koch this summer.
, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has apparently earmarked the German U21 international as a possible replacement for Toby Alderweireld this summer.

The Belgian has a £25 million release clause and is highly likely to depart this summer having been one of the top centre-backs in Europe for the past couple of years.
Koch has been a regular at Freiburg this season, making 22 Bundesliga appearances.
He has impressed with his defensive positioning aerial dominance, and ball-playing ability.
Koch, who is also being eyed by Valencia, could cost in the region of £20 million, which has to get Wolves’ attention.
TBR’s view
Nuno Espirito Santo has essetially used the same three defenders all season at Molineux.
Conor Coady, Wily Boly and Ryan Bennett have been brilliant at the back and really know how to work together.

But there is very little cover in terms of central defenders and Espirito Santo has been rather fortunate that all three have stayed fit for the whole season.
Beating Tottenham to the signing of Koch would be a great way to kick off the summer; he would come in to provide competition for the three regulars and possibly represent a good long-term investment.
