Wolves fans react as Patrick Cutrone scores against West Ham
Wolverhampton Wanderers climbed to fifth in the Premier League with a 2-0 win over West Ham at Molineux.
It was a comfortable night at the office for Nuno Espirito Santo’s men. The win was secured thanks to goals from Leander Dendoncker and Patrick Cutrone.
Wolves competing in the Europa League has seen them start this season somewhat inconsistent. They have drawn more games than anyone in the division but are now ticking along nicely.

One extremely pleasing aspect to last night’s victory was Italian striker Cutrone netting.
The 21-year-old signed from AC Milan for £23 million during the summer but has taken some time to settle in the Premier League.
Cutrone’s only other league goal for Wolves came during a 5-2 defeat against Chelsea back in September.
The relief was there for all to see when he netted against the Hammers. His work rate has never been in question but Wolves fans have been desperate to see him score a few more goals.

After his latest strike, the hope will be that he can kick on and get himself on the scoresheet a bit more often.
Following his latest goal, here is a selection of tweets paying tribute to the big-money summer signing.

Unreal seeing first-hand the emotion on Cutrone’s face when he scored. He needed that goal. He loves the pizza

Great finish from Cutrone. Good cameo from Neto since coming on. Great substitutions.
