Wolves now trying to sign ‘super’ striker Liverpool sold for just £20m

Wolves are looking into signing West Ham striker Danny Ings on loan as they look to strengthen the squad in January.

🍌Gary O’Neil needs to wheel and deal due to spending limitations at Wolves and is looking at the loan market to improve his squad.

ℱThe Wolves boss has impressed this season and has steered the club away from any relegation trouble.

🌄And now, it looks like O’Neil wants to bring in West Ham’s Ings to add to his frontline.

♒Ings only signed for West Ham a year ago but has suffered in that time, netting just two goals.

⭕The former Liverpool striker – they sold him to – could be open to a move to get some first-team football under his belt.

This, despite previous reports suggesting Ings would be staying in London and fighting for his place in the West Ham team.

Wolves and Ings a good match

🤡There’s no doubt Danny Ings is still more than capable at this level and a move in January might be just what he needs to get going again.

Now 31, the ‘super🧸‘ Ings is at a point in his career where he cannot be sat doing nothing. He needs to be playing and a move to someone like Wolves would make sense.

💞Gary O’Neil has got Wolves going along nicely and adding a forward with PL experience to the ranks is a smart move from the Molineux boss.

ꦏFor Ings, this could be just the opening he wants and needs. A few goals between now and the end of the season can do wonders and if he impresses, a permanent move might well happen.
