Wolves must act quickly if they are to beat Sevilla to 8-goal striker Andre Silva
In the summer, Wolverhampton Wanderers were strongly linked with Andre Silva.
Many media outlets, , suggested Wolves were keen on AC Milan striker Silva.
But instead, the Portugal international moved to Sevilla on loan with an option to buy.
And after an impressive start to the season, Sevilla are ready to buy him outright, .
However, there is a lingering doubt over his price tag and the fact that Silva has not heard about an official approach.
Could this be the window of opportunity that Wolves need to reignite their interest in the striker they should have signed in the summer?
Raul Jimenez is Wolves’ top choice striker but he has received criticism this season, despite scoring against Chelsea in midweek.
At the very least, the Mexican needs some competition and Silva would be a great signing for Nuno Espirito Santo.
The 23-year-old has scored eight goals in just 13 La Liga games for Sevilla and he is improving with each game he plays.
