Wolves man Cavaleiro needs to start to offer support to isolated Jimenez

After a fast start to life in the Premier League, Wolves have stumbled across a minor blip.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have lost two games in a row, although they still sit in 9th place in the Premier League table.

Wolves have drawn blanks twice in a row, first losing 2-0 to Watford then falling to a 1-0 defeat at Brighton yesterday.

In fact, the only goal Wolves have scored in October came from defender Matt Doherty in a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace.

It seems that Nuno has a question to ponder. How does he line up his attack to get them scoring goals again?

In Raul Jimenez, they have a decent striker who has started well at Molineux, scoring twice.

But the Mexican needs some support from his team-mates and he has looked isolated up front in the last few games.

It is time for Nuno to hand a start to Ivan Cavaleiro, who has waited patiently for his chance this season.

After missing the start of the season to injury, the Portuguese winger has come off the bench in the last few games.

And he looks raring to go, having scored once already this campaign.

The 25-year-old is direct with his approach and he likes to cut inside, get himself into the box and join the central striker in Wolves attacks.

This is exactly what Wolves need when they host Tottenham Hotspur next weekend.
