Wolves fans react on Twitter to Oli McBurnie interest reports
A number of Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to comment on that the club want Sheffield United striker Oli McBurnie this summer.
This season has really highlighted the need for a new striker at Molineux. Wolves have really struggled to find the back of the net without Raul Jimenez.

Their top goalscorers in the Premier League have five goals each. So it is no surprise to see Nuno Espirito Santo’s men linked with a new forward.
However, the reported target who has been named has caused quite a stir amongst Wolves fans on social media.

, Wolves are planning to make a £15 million bid for McBurnie. It comes with the Blades apparently willing to cash in as relegation looms.
McBurnie has not enjoyed the best season by any means. The Scotland international has only scored once in the Premier League this season.
Admittedly, it would perhaps be harsh to judge any one individual member of the Sheffield United squad when they have all struggled. But it seems safe to say that the Wolves fans are not excited by the links at all.
A couple believe that he has the potential to show a lot more. He can cause problems for defenders and he is still young. And a £15 million fee is hardly breaking the bank for a Premier League side.
But others have insisted that they hope that there is nothing in the links. They have major doubts about whether McBurnie is going to help take Wolves to the next level after a difficult campaign.
With that in mind, here is how some of the supporters have reacted to the reports…
Judging by the comments people will think I’m mad but mcburnie is the type of player we could do with. A poacher. It’s the build/supply that needs improvement.

Mcburnie? What has happened to us

Those pooping on McBurnie this morning would have definitely pooped the signing of Benfica reserve striker Raul Jimenez.
Do Wolves have the ability to improve strikers with potential? Ask Neto, Jimenez, Silva, Jota.
At least it gives an indication on our spending power.

If this is what we’re eyeing up then we are fighting relegation next year.
