Wolves fans react on Twitter as Newcastle eye Conor Coady

A number of Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to comment on that Newcastle United want Conor Coady.

There is a huge amount of anticipation heading into the first transfer window of a new era at St James’ Park.

The Magpies have already been linked with a raft of names, both in the Premier League and across the rest of Europe.

And one of the latest to be linked with a move is Coady, that Newcastle want the 28-year-old in January.

The report notes that Wolves will demand at least £20 million for their captain. Coady meanwhile, recently suggested that the takeover was brilliant for Newcastle.

Interestingly, a lot of the reaction to the reports on social media appears to be extremely mixed.

Some have insisted that he must not be sold. He has been a legendary figure at Molineux for a number of years, helping take Wolves from the Championship to the Premier League, and into Europe.

And replacing him and the influence he has at the club would be nearly impossible.

However, some would be open to a sale. In fact, there are several fans who believe that Wolves may actually be better off if they cash in.

Selling Coady would leave Bruno Lage with greater scope to switch to a back four. And that would potentially lead to the side making an improvement.
