Wolves fans react as club reportedly eye Tottenham player

Tottenham Hotspur are yet to make a decision on the future of on-loan striker Carlos Vinicius and Wolves could reportedly look to bring the Brazilian striker to the Midlands this summer – prompting reaction from Wolves fans.

Vinicius, 26, joined Tottenham on loan from Benfica last summer and has since found the back of the net 10 times in 22 league and cup appearances. However, many – both goals and games – have come against lesser opposition.

The powerhouse centre-forward has netted a hat-trick against non-league Marine, while six goals have come in the Europa League. Only one has come in the Premier League, scoring against Aston Villa in March during a 2-0 win.

that Wolves made a bid worth £52million last summer, but an offer of £26million is now said to be made by Wolves to Benfica – with other reports suggesting that Spurs are unlikely to keep him.

Wolves fans have reacted on Twitter to the reports that they could go back in for lofty ace Vinicius. The majority of the Wolves fanbase believe that Vinicius would be a good signing for the club, even if he has only got one league goal.

Many believe he would be better value for money than a permanent deal to sign Willian Jose permanently.
