Wolves fans react as 23-year-old officially leaves Molineux
Wolverhampton Wanderers have bid farewell to defender Kortney Hause, who has officially joined Aston Villa in a £3 million permanent deal ().
The 23-year-old spent the second half of the 2018/19 season on loan at Villa Park and made 14 appearances in all competitions for the club.
He becomes Villa’s fourth signing of the summer after the arrivals of striker Wesley, winger Anwar El Ghazi and forward Jota.
Hause departs Molineux after a five-and-a-half-year stint at the club.
The star arrived from Wycombe Wanderers in 2014, and went on to make over 80 appearances for the club, with most of those coming in the Championship.
In 2018/19 Hause did feature for Wolves in the Carabao Cup, but was allowed to depart temporarily in January in a bid to get regular minutes at Villa.

Most Wolves appear not to be too cut up about Hause’s departure.
Last term Nuno Espirito Santo’s defence was fairly solid and although Hause did well at Villa, he was never going to take Willy Boly, Connor Coady or Ryan Bennett’s place in 2019/20.
Shame. Had hoped Hause would end up as a long-term regular on the left side of the back 3. As a natural left-footer and a promising young English player. It’s a pity he didn’t get to feature more in 17/18 as his development got stunted a bit by not playing.

Kourtney had a lot of potential but truth is he hasn’t improved during his time at the club probably due to a lack of opportunities he’s a presence at the back but always looks likely to make errors. 3 mil for an English CB is a good price tho

Good luck to Kortney, but he was definitely surplus to requirements at Wolves being about 5th choice, so getting money for home is a smart move.

Not unhappy at all with £3m for Hause – a Champ defender at best, so decent value for us.
Don’t understand fans saying we let Hause go on the cheap.
Didn’t come close to our team under Nuno in the Champ, so certainly not good enough for where we’re heading now.
