Wolves fans hail Fabio Silva after his performance in 1-0 Fulham win

Wolverhampton Wanderers recorded a last-gasp victory on Friday night against Fulham – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter hailed the impact of their substitute Fabio Silva.

Wolves jumped up to 12th in the Premier League table after winning 1-0 at Craven Cottage in dramatic fashion.

It was a game where both teams were lacking a cutting edge when it came to the final third, but Nuno Espirito Santo’s side were resilient defensively and ultimately grabbed three points in the closing stages.

Adama Traore turned out to be the match-winner with his 92nd minute strike.

The 25-year-old right-winger thundered in a shot to the roof of the net from a tight angle, which was his first league goal of the season.

A selection of Wolves supporters on social media felt that their youngster Silva deserved a special mention for his contribution.

The teenage striker entered the action in the 78th minute, and ultimately he assisted the winning goal with a nice threaded pass forwards.

The 18-year-old’s assist off the bench comes immediately after scoring in the previous game against West Ham, as he starts to find his feet during his first campaign at Molineux.
